I admit I went when it was there was a power outage, and this place had power. So, I suspect it was busy because of that phenomenon. It was solid middle food and service. It was really okay. The surrounds were a bit hokey... but, really, okay.

Some of the other reviews I read for Jonathon's mention the food being pricey, but we did not think this was the case at all for the quality. The filet steak and filet kabobs we had were juicy, flavorful, and melt in your mouth delicious. Under $30 per entree for exceptional meat and including a generous salad with homemade dressing...

Small but excellent restaurant popular with the locals. Need we say more? Right on route 7A, a mile or so north of Arlington and the West Mountain Inn. Excellent food prepared with real skill and care. Very friendly staff; Vermont country decor inside. Reservations are a good idea. Highly recommended.
I would like to preface this review with disclosing that we are New York city foodies. In other words, we set the bar for food very very high.Walking into Jonathan's table one is greated with a genuiley friendly staff and a warm hearted and cozy atmosphere. The menu offers something for everybody. We started out with homemade fresh bread served...

Jonathon's Table (the correct spelling) is out-of-this-world and not-to-be-missed. If you are in Arlington or Manchester, Vermont, you need to make sure to make a reservation at this wonderful, cozy, delicious hideaway. Be prepared for a dining experience. You need to be ready to take it slow and savor the experience; this is not an in-and-out restaurant. The entire meal...

Finding Jonathon's Table (yes, it is spelled thon, rather than the usual than) isn't easy but the search is worth the effort. Tucked away behind "The Sugar Shack" on Route 7A, this intimate local favorite is a special place. The dining room is small, comfortable, and attractive, a welcoming kind of room. The menu offered lots of creative choices, but...

Jonathan's Table is a quaint little restaurant in Arlington Vermont hidden behind the Sugar Shack which has a Norman Rockwell exhibit and souvenirs. The restaurant, however, is a standout. A great menu, featuring prime rib, seafood, and other entrees as well as delicious deserts. A bit pricey for a small town, but we found the food worth the money. The...

Most of the reviews I've read seem to refer to a different restaurant than the one we ate in this
past august. But it seem there is only one.
The atmosphere is quaint and comfortable no complaint there, but the food and the prices are
another matter.
I had the there 'signature dish' lemon chicken, it was barely edible.
It...

Wonderful ambience, food and drink. We ate there during a power outage lighting necessitated by candlelight. Lovely!
Jonathon's (I believe he spells it with an "o") has everything it takes for a fantastic, casual evening. We were referred by the owners of the outstanding Ira Allen House where we were staying. The service was fantastic, only exceeded by the "Grandma-must-have-cooked-it" food. I enjoyed the prime rib (house specialty) and the chicken and fish my friends had was...
