When you eat at an Italian restaurant I think they should get the classics right. We had a very uneducated server on the menu and to top it off the Bolognese was terrible. My dining partner had amazing mushroom pasta that was full of flavor and the perfect temperature. The diners beside us shared the fact that their food was... More

I've eaten here a few times and the only bad part is that its a small restaurant. So you are going to feel a little cramped during your meal. Food is excellent though so it makes up for the lack of stretching room. More

As many others have said, this is an excellent Italian Restaurant, with a great location and atmosphere. We arrived on a Friday night without a reservation. The place was full, but there was a spot open at the bar which we took advantage of. The food is very reasonably priced and portions are big. My chicken parmesan was excellent as... More

The food was delicious! We had the scallops with cannellini beans and the mushroom fettucini. Both were excellent but the best thing was the caprese made with burrata cheese and an heirloom tomato. If you're a caprese lover, go get some of that! More

Visiting Austin for the first time, I was centered in suburbia with nieces and nephew. In a break-away move, my sister and I decided to head to Austin. La Traviata tables were booked, but we decided took our chances anyway. The food was solidly good and Molly, the evening's chef, was delightful. (One of the advantages of sitting at the... More
