My husband and I saw this sandwich shop on an episode of DD&D. We decided to go with our two daughters (7&4) and try it out when we were in Austin. I had the Noble Pig sandwich and it was off the charts divine. There wasn't a thing about it I would change. My husband has the duck pastrami sandwich... More

The sandwiches were fresh, tasty, filling and unusual. Service was excellent. Unfortunately, seating is limited because the lace is so popular.

First time eating here. Having looked at the menu online ahead of time, I knew it wasn't exactly a vegetarian-friendly place, but decided to try the Pressed 3 Cheese & Cauliflower sandwich. Positives: good wheat bread, good (homemade?) chips that came with sandwich, good value for the money (good amount of food & size of sandwich). Negatives: I guess from... More

I had the namesake sandwich, The Noble Pig. I liked the home made bread....but the 3 pork combo did nothing for me. None of the 3 meats stood out. It was just a pile of cheesy meat with a wiff of mustard. There was nothing to set off the pork...it could have used something tart for some contrast. This was... More

...and I LOVE BBQ... I was in town for a 2 day business trip and had planned to grab some Texas barbeque before flying out. Looking up directions that morning I found that the place I was heading to had a fire the night before, and wouldn't be open for another week. After a quick search for lunches in Austin,... More

I've been here once and the sandwiches are so good! The place is small and crowded, but totally worth it. Give it a try, I can't see how you'd be disappointed.

The Duck Pastrami was one of the best sandwiches I've had, no doubt. The Noble Pig was awesome as well, but would have been much more memorable had I not just tried the duck. Dont let the strip mall look fool you, there was a line out the door and it was well worth it. Thank goodness its not right... More

My friends went there as we were saying goodbye to another SXSW weekend....and the food was AMAZING.... I had the pork belly/Turkey club sandwich which was called the -TNP CLUB – HERB ROASTED TURKEY, HOUSE BACON OLIVE OIL PICKLES.. it was the best thing ever and then they make a 5 spice chocolate pudding that really taste more like a... After realizing that we were staying less than 5 minutes away and not wanting to drive downtown to SXSW, we stopped in for a mid-afternoon lunch. The atmosphere is typical deli, but the food is absolutely amazing. The Noble Pig and Duck Pastrami are both full-flavored perfection. Our second stop a few days later proved our first experience was not... More

What is not to love about this place? Everything is homemade, home roasted, and very tasty. The sandwiches are unique creations that you won't find anywhere else. The pickles that they make in house and the five-spice chocolate pudding is just awesome. The only down side is that it is a small place that gets crowded.
