Possibly one of the best meals I have ever had. We choose this restaurant because my Rough Guide travel book recommended it and said a meal for 2 with beers was about 800 PHP. Apparently my friends and I have extravagant taste. We had 1 lapu lapu, 1 red snapper, 1 jumbo crab (really jumbo), 4 jumbo tiger prawns, blue...

Ate here a couple nights ago, it is on Jorge Bocobo across from Arquiza street. On entry you are accompanied by a nice young lady with a shopping cart. you choose your own seafood, they have live lobster and crabs, fresh fish of different varieties, mussels, squid etc. and fresh vegetables. you choose what you like and then it is...

its like eating inside a wet market, unless that's exactly what their trying for an ambiance, and its quite expensive in relation to its portion and probably not worth the experience. their not even unique in their own rite, lots of restaurants like these in 'macapagal', they should've kept up the place
The food is good but not excellent . Fresh and tasty but a little bit expensive. The atmosphere is really not the best and old uncomfortable iron chairs.
Fresh seafood and vegetables!
Restaurant itself and service are very normal, but food is amazing!
Choose ingredients from Market in the restaurant first and tell staff how you want them to cook. After a while, you can enjoy the meal you imagine.
Please be careful, you will be charged some additional fee for cooking except for ingredients and drinks fee....

You do need the check the colour of the gills on the fish to make sure you get an acceptable one,...

I've been to the Seaside Seafood market along macapagal blvd. in Pasay many times and comparing the two, I would prefer the one in Pasay for the fact that the seafoods and cooking charges are cheaper.
Dear rickyrose,
I'm saddened by your negative experience. i think that perhaps this was merely a misunderstanding? We have not charged for cooking since 2001.
Best regards,
Garrick
