My husband and I love Spanish food so we usually end up in a Spanish restaurant during date night. Time and time again, we return to our favorite, Casa Armas in Malate, because of their fantastic paella. After trying out the paella in different restaurants, the one in Casa Armas still gets our vote. The flavors are rich and hearty,... More

I found the food to be okay but nothing spectacular. I grew up eating Spanish food and I was not too impressed with their tapas nor their paella. I still very much prefer the flavors of Alba"s or the now closed (at least to my knowledge) Mingoy's and Dona Nenas. Amalia's (Mingoy's wife) in the Magallanes Makati , in my... More

Each time I crave for vegetarian paella, the first thing that comes to mind is Casa Armas. The vegetables are cooked just right (unlike the vegearian paella in another more established Spanish resto which serves overcooked, soggy vegetables in their vegetarian paella). Salad is also good though nothing extraordinary. I really am disappointed that the branch in Trinoma closed. Now... More

Casa Armas is the best restaurant I have been for the last 3 years in Manila.very tasty Spanish food. Serrano ham cut like it most be done, not too thick not to thin. Filet mignon tender like Kobe beef. Service very friendly. A band of 3 guitar players were playing Spanish music. Highly recommanded.

We went here for our last meal in the Philippines since it was close to our hotel and recommended in Lonely Planet. Its a small place which could be more cozy than it was. This was christmastime so they has three gentlemen caroling, which sounds nice but since it was such a small place you actually couldnt hear eachother over... More

After read positive reviews of Casa Armas of Malate I have to say that we got all in negative way. Gambas al ajillo was tasteless because garlic was burned brown. Main course was sole in oven with beurre blanc sauce.Sole was swimming in huge amount of sauce. No rice no potatos or any green. Only wine by glass is the... More

FOOD QUALITY: Very Good! The restaurant serve Spanish Cuisine. We had two types of Paella (Valenciana and Negra), Pata Estofado, Lengua Estofado, Calamares Fritos, Callos, and Special Fried Chicken smothered with crispy garlic). Our favorite were the callos and the Paella Negra. AMBIANCE & FUNCTIONALITY: Very old world and Latin. You will be transported to the world of a tapas... More

The Tapas and the Paella was great. The servings were also huge enough to share. They have good pasta too but will defintely recommend the Paella Marinara.

Great paella and tapas, cheap beer and great atmosphere. Close to the Hyatt and other hotels and the Robinson Mall
