The restaurant itself is rather lacking in atmosphere perhaps due to a high ceiling and cold lighting. But it is imposing. If you can get a window seat you will be entertained by the illuminated fountain displays in the evening. We had a good meal rather a great meal. The staff were wonderful. The duck with pancakes were made at... More

A Chinese restaurant at the Mandarin Oriental hotel, very stylish and with a great view. Really great dishes, but the set menus are only for 4 persons or more, so being only 2 meant we had to choose from the a la carte list. Everything we ordered was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Food and service was great, will come back... More

i had breakfast there with my girlfriend and the dimsum menu was very limited. when served with tea, the tea cup has lipstick stains. we ordered a few dim sum dishes and i was disappointed with the taste. most of the dishes were too sweet and taste like microwaved instant dimsum from supermarkets. perhaps their lunch and dinner menu offers... I took my family for dim sum, it is pricey and poor management:-( slow service and poor quality. I felt so bad to my family, I won't go back or recommend to anyone.

This is one fine restaurant with excellent food, wonderful ambience, and good, but not great, service. I will definitely go back.

I planned a family CNY dinner in Lai Po Heen recently. The food ordering was handled by a manager, Kelvin. He helped to explain the food menu in details and gave appropriate advise on my food choice. Then the pre-order menu was nicely typed out and presented on the dining table. I was really impressed with Kelvin's excellent service, his... More

Best hotel dim sum I've had. Made to order.Service was good. If you have a hard time choosing the dishes do take suggestions from the hostess and you will be good. Fresh, fast and super scrumptious!
