Great selection of pies (about 20 types). All of them are really tasty and relatively cheap (500 rub is more than enough to have a good meal for 2 people). Good choice of tees. The overall atmosphere is also very nice. But beware: the availability of pies is extremely limited in the evening. We visited several Stolle locations at St... More

Half of the listed selection wasn't available, although what we had was OK if a bit stodgy. Would line the stomach in cool weather, but if you just want a light lunch the pies are a bit heavy.

Incredibly tasty and inexpensive sweet and savory pies. The displays are in Russian so may be intimidating for non-Russian speakers. Because you order at the counter, you can also feel pressured to make quick choices, adding to the stress if it's already a foreign language. I recommend braving the language barrier for this tasty and quick meal!

I was on a trip to St Petersburg with my parents and were recommended this place by locals. The pies were just heavenly- we had several, but, what particularly stuck were the cherry, cabbage & egg, mushroom and meat pies. We'd come again and recommend this place to our friends!

We never ever saw a service like this one. Full great overwhelming indifference and disregard + just lovely clear rudeness. Staff looks and behaves very angry and spiteful, so you won't feel comfortable there at all. "Sorry, but we wouldn't come here anymore" - we said. "So don't come!" - they replied. What a refined elegant dialog. Felt like we... More

There were so many types of pies on offer. We visited Stolle twice during our 4 days visit in St Petes. It's always crowded and difficult to get a seat. Overall, prefer the sweet varieties over the savory ones. Meat pie was too dry for my taste. Coffee was strong. Prices were reasonable. Great place for a quick refuel in... More

Stopped in here during a chilly city tour. Tea and coffee were good but hot chocolate not on offer. Two guests were very happy with their salmon and mushroom pies respectively while I indulged in a dried apricot pastry, which was intensely tasty and no comparison to what we get in the UK. Prices are very reasonable. Would definitely eat... More

Dropped in here on the basis of all the rave reviews, but not convinced. Maybe it's just us, but white fish pie, in a sweet pastry, served cold, just didn't work. Likewise the meat pie. Some of the earlier reviews suggest the pies were served hot, but ours weren't. And I wouldn't say that eating at 4ish in a place... More

Highly recommend! Excellent quality of products used. Stick to the best traditions in baking. Want to see real russians everyday iife - find Stolle and have a lunch or breakfast or dinner there. Besides pastry they serve soups, main dishes, but pastry is their speciality! Service - okish, not super.

If you happen to be in St. Petersburg and pass by shop called "Stolle" you have to stop and try some pies there. The best one in my opinion is the cabbage with a bit of eggs pie, it is amazingly tasty and sweet and leaves you in great satisfaction after you eat it. Other pies are also great, try... More
