Poor service. Bad risotto. We send it back and the staff did nothing to fix it, or replace it. Good pizza and caprese salad. Reasonable esplanade.

Came here with family for lunch and was pleasantly surprised, nice layout, friendly staff, food was great, and they have fantastic selection of tea.

I've been several times in Academia and was always satisfied with food. Especially salads are delicious! The atmosphere is nice, staff polite. The place is a bit overpriced, that is only one minus. This place is almost always full, and is not very good for a romantic dinner. But is is perfect for lunch with friends!

Situated very close to Red Square this restaurant has fantastic service, helpful staff a reasonable western and Russian menu at sensible prices. The set breakfast offers are a very good deal. The food isn't amazing but it's hot and served all together, which in Moscow is a rare event.

I think this place gets lots of reviews due to the high amount of foreigners that frequent it. In general it's overpriced unless you're eating omelets in the morning or simple pasta in the evening. I've visited 4 times and twice had good servers, twice had awful service. Try it out for brunch or when you're in the mood for... More

While I'm not from Moscow, I had the feeling that I was surrounded by Muscovites that were just out hanging out with friends because the food was good, and not over the top. It's certainly not a fancy place (similar to a U.S. diner), but it seemed like good comfort food. I really liked the borscht!!

Young couples/friends choose this Italian restaurant due to its speedy service and the quality of foods, as well as its convenient location close to city centre.

Academiya seems to be populated by both locals and tourists/expats. It is a stylish place with an modern, eclectic menu. It's a great place grab a quick dinner. I ate two rather more hurried dinners there of sushi and I was very pleased with both the quick service and good food. Don't go there for a nelegant meal, but it... More

I would say, that it's quite a nice place, but it's a bit overpriced. Tables stand really close to each other, so want it or not, but you'll end up being a part of a conversation with people sitting next to you. However, food is tasty.
