Service, food, atmosphere, all wonderful. Im not a local and loved the traditional food experience.I will go back. The food was to die for, just wonderful, and cooked so well. Could fault nothing.

i have to concur some of the previous reviewers as this place is about as average as it gets. The restaurant was empty and stayed empty for the entire time of our visit and neither that or the location bothered me. What did was the food which was turned out to be dressed up comfort food, dressed up in a... More

I went with a group to Café Elysa last November and have also compared notes with 3 different sets of co-workers and friends who have also tried it within the last year. Some are cebuanos, 1 canadian, and a couple originally from manila. We are all unanimous that it is neither a good restaurant nor a terrible one. It is... More

This restaurant has a nice location near historic sites of Cebu. The price is a bit expensive, equivalent to prices in Greenbelt, Makati. There is no free drinking Water, so customers are obliged to buy bottled water. The food portions are somewhat meager, and should be 30% more at least. Aside from these 2 complaints (no drinking water, and small... More

I only saw 3 service people but they were amazing. Very professional looking gents, they were able to clearly explain their menu when I asked for one. Fast service and what I like about it is you don’t have to explain what you need, the crew clearly knows what they are doing, well trained, this is a breath of fresh... More

Service was great, very personal. Food was interesting but not really spectacular. Serving size is too small, and for a group of 12, service staff didnt tell us that we should order more of each.

It was a treat for us to visit Café Elysa--professional staff, an entertaining host, delicious food and great ambiance! Try the Elysa spring rolls, fried seasoned pork belly and the chicken saté. We really enjoyed the Portuguese sausages, which was the special of the day. For dessert, we had banana fritters which was served with local lime and caramel syrup... More
