Fantastic food in basic but friendly surroundings. Came here 8 years ago and loved it and been twice on this trip. Try Chilli Chicken with rice and veg washed down with a couple of beers and a chai latte for "pudding" Highly recommended
Bad Customer Service. Like people owe them money. You need to keep on asking for the basic items which served in indian restaurant. Seem fine serving foreigners but when come to local (sigh )
Very quiet the night we visited, lots of friendly and attentive staff. We tried the banana leaf meal were impressed with the presentation and the flavours of the accompaniments. The beans and the cabbage were favourites.
Chicken Ayam and a mix of squid and prawns ( a special request that was accepted with a smile).
Great meal, cold drinks and...

We tried Jothy's on the recommendation of our driver as it was air conditioned on a 32c day. Its located behind and underneath Marina Court. Its a clean and friendly restaurant with great Indian food. We went a bit mad ordering a little too much food all eaten off a banana leaf except the Birani Chicken. The quality was very...

For the lover's of Indian food - good choise. Tasty curries and chapati. They have special rice on banana leaf - didn't try, but looks gorgeous. Since it's quite popular place, has reviews on tripadvisor and lonely planet, prices are little high. There are many other less popular and same delisions options. Friendly and helpful staff.
Always make it a point to drop into Jothy's whenever i'm in KK. My comments as follow, compared to other Indian restaurants in the same area, Jothy's is clean, airconditioned and comfortable, its a godsend due to the humidity and heat in Malaysia. So its worth paying the extra for food and beverages.
As for the food i love the...

We came here for dinner when we noticed the lonely planet sticker on the door. Was a bit skeptical when the restaurant was empty but given that it was 7.30, I just assumed that we were one of the early diners. The owner and his family were sitting at one of the tables but didn't make any attempt to greet...

We had walked past this restaurant, and been put off by the large “Fish Head Curry” sign. Later we read up about it, and seeing they had more to offer, decided to give it a go.
The décor is a bit sparse, and the menu is a little confusing, but the food was really good. I had the chili chicken,...

The curries were good but the fish head was disappointing as it was just very spicy and very fennelly.
