This is a family run business.Offering such a wide variety of food from local to Japanese and Western. The food is nice and I just love the sushi ( better than Wakaba @ Chenang Mall). Services was great. Try to speak to Miki or Mari, the restaurant owner should you need anything or not happy with the services. I would... More

The restaurant is a really convenient for guests of The Meritus Pelangi being just across the road. The menu was excellent especially the prawns. We visited twice on our holiday and found the restaurant menu very reasonably priced, as were the drinks. We would very much recommend it as a good and relaxing venue. Very friendly Japanese family run. Lennie... More

Very reasonable prices with quite traditionally flavored dishes. I thoroughly enjoyed the chilli tiger prawns. We also had the cashew chicken and sweet and sour chicken. The chicken used was nice, white and good quality. There was a mother cat and her kittens there however, something which didn't bother us at all as they didn't enter the dining area and... More

As others have siad it is quite hard to find (in the grounds of the Rice Museum) BUT well, well worth it. The food is fantastic and the service exemplary. We were in Langkawi for just a few days but went twice! Thanks for two fantastic evenings.

A sweet little restaurant hidden in this Rice Museum, not easy to find, but worth it. Run by a very friendly Japanese family. The food was simply fantastic. The best tiger prawns I've ever had. When you're in Langkawi, you have to pay a visit here, and try many different things from the menu. We took 6 small portions of... More

The service in this place is fantastic, with the restaurant situated in a very unusual but appealing setting. Family run, we were well looked after and certainly well fed! Great food at a very reasonable price. The owners were charming and made the night extra enjoyable. Although hard to find, its well worth the effort and I'd recommend highly.

I'd walked past Laman Padi a couple of times before I'd noticed that they also had a restaurant on the grounds. Laman Padi is a beautiful rice farm/museum located near Cenang Beach. The restaurant itself was set out nicely with a great view out over the rice fields. I walked in just as they opened for lunch and was greater... More

We always visit Laman Ria (operated by the same family that own Orkid Ria) whenever we come to Langkawi. It is within the grounds of the Laman Padi rice museum beside the taxi rank opposite the entrance to the Pelangi Beach Resort. Surrounded by rice padis, you can dine inside or out. The food is mostly chinese with a few... More

Upon walking into Laman Ria (located inside the Laman Padi complex), you would think the place was closed. No customers, not many staff around, and it's open air so you could be mistaken for thinking you'd just wandered into just another area of Laman Padi... But - find a menu and a staff member and you'll be glad you did!... More

You'll never expect that there is a Japanese restaurant nicely tucked in the Laman Padi museum's vicinity, if it's not recommended. The food was simply amazing and the host Mari & Miki were great! The best Katsu don I ever had. ;p If you can't figure out what to order, just asked for Mari's Plate. It's a chef selection for... More
