Located by the oldest church of Uruguay, a delicious meal, peasant atmosphere and live music. You can try a delicious wine from the region for a fair price and exquisite Uruguayan barbecue- the asado! For desert: whatever with dulce de leche- the best of the word!

We had a wonderful meal in a great building with wonderful service. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. It is in the center of the historic district, so very well located as well. Try the fish or the meat or pasta *or anything* and the Dulche de leche crepe was amazing.

This UNESCO World Heritage site is well worth the day trip from Buenos Aires. The site is within easy walking distance from the ferry terminal.
