My Hubby loved this bar on the beach.. Owner very friendly,,, in a prime spot and very busy.. good food and very attentive staff.. have to try this one if you are in Patong...
We stay at La Flora, just down the beach from Chez Bernard's, and most days we wander up the beach for lunch. There's nothing like sitting with your feet in the sand, and having a cheap and cheerful lunch, while watching the ever-passing foot traffic for entertainment. The food is always good, the Chicken green curry has some good heat,... More
This is a good restaurant that is well priced, has good food & is located right on the beach. Well worth a visit
The setting is wonderful, the service good and the food was very tasty. We liked it so much we went back again a few days later. It is not flash but it will be one of the first places I will go back to.
Had 2 great meals at Chez Bernards with my family. Fantastic location and the food was wonderful. The staff were helpful and the food and drink was served quickly.Great qulaity Thai and western food. Can't recommend highly enough.

All this right on the Patong beach....there's definitely something about sitting eating with... More

House wines reasonable for Thailand, and good enough. Bernard welcoming, but a bit "envahissant." Staff sweet and trying to be helpful, with usual Thaï cluelessness about foreign languages. I went... A little hard to find from the beach road, but once you have found it, you will return. Sand floor, rustic assortment of tables and chairs, good, cheap food. The wait staff are very friendly and seem to enjoy their work. Sunset views, glass of wine or a beer, what more could you want. UNLESS Chez himself (somewhat excentric Frenchman)... More
