Its a great place to relax and have lunch but make sure you have time. The service is slow and the food is not great. But you cant have it all.
Last year, this place was 'Nico's, I heard it from friends and a great review on Asia Travel & Leisure. Came to know the management changed and they reopened it last month. Selective food and delicious! The view is breathtaking and you can just sit for hours! Must try their Garlic Prawns with a combo of White Wine!
The problem with this place was it was empty. There were three staff sat around when we entered the place but this was the only place in Sri Lanka where you go to the counter. The breakfast was not that good and the price made it the same price as a few beers at the galle fort hotel which is... More
This is the first beach club i was in Sri lanka for the last 3 years. Build in a classical Mayami style traditions. Good restaraunt Pool Sunbeds Amazing ocean view. Good for a lazy weekend.

They have 2 rooms, a bar, restaurant, pool, has beach access and is located on the main Colombo – Matara road, so it’s easy to get to.... More

We stayed at Nicos one night, and ate breakfast, lunch... More

The chocolate fondant was amazing and the cocktails were good too (very carefully made) but each time we went it was completely empty and the service... More
cocktails were decent, setting nice but food overrated and way too expensive. surprised it's number-one for this part of the world as a lot of the hhotels nicer.
