We were staying at Amal villa so got to eat at the restaurant for free as we were half board and we ate here a number of nights. The menu was extensive and we sampled a number of dishes between our group of 8 all of which we enjoyed and were cooked to a high quality with decent sized portions.... More

Had a fabulous dinner at Amal's and went back the next night for another great dinner. We tasted the lobster, snapper & crab - all were delicious & cooked perfectly. Indeed a little on the pricey side for Sri Lanka but well worth it. The service was also great & the restaurant has a great atmosphere!

Ate dinner here twice, enjoyed it both times. A little on the pricey side but they will cook your seafood any way you want and the chef has good flavours. Food does take a while to come but they do give you complimentary starters of salad and bread with garlic butter.

Food and service are grea at Amal restaurant. You have a lot of choice, including amazing seafood. I personally tried the devilled calamaris and the noodles with egg and seafood and loved both. Service is fast and everyone is really lovely. Highly recommended!

A great restaurant with nice atmosphere, some evenings you can experience jungle drums in live! We had dinner there every evening and the food was fresh and very tasteful, especially the seafood. I can really recomend Amal Restaurant.

Wandering up the fab beach stumbled across Amal Restaurant after taking a drink at their beach side facilities. We ate here as a large group of friends and I ordered a sea food spaghetti dish. The food was delicious and the portion was so big I couldnt eat it all! Great if you have a big appetite. The drinks and cocktails were really good at Amal Restaurant and we enjoyed the Paradise Cocktail, mmmmm!
