I really loved the service and food at this place. It is straight up the middle Italian but done just right for that. The dining room is a little old and sparse but I thought the atmosphere was perfect for the place and thus liked the atmosphere. The beans and greens appetizer was to die for. My only complaint is... My party of four went to Caffe Italia recently on the advice of friends. Overall, we were very pleasantly surprised. After negotiating for a hard to find parking spot on the street, we entered a fairly small but neatly appointed dining room. The wait staff was extremely friendly, knowledgable and efficient. I had a few questions about the preparation of... More

a romantic, intimate Italian restaurant, old world style, with knowledgeable male wait staff. Food is consistent & of high quality each & every visit. The spaghetti carbonara is like nowhere else and is "the real deal". A must try.

We did get there late, 930 pm, waited for a while before the hostess came over, she apologized. Place is a small family run business. The mushroom soup and rice ball were tasty. I ordered the shrimp oreganata and asked if they could put some scallops in it too. Got what I call shrimp scampi over penne. Not oreganata, no... More

This is one of those small family run Italian Restaurants with fantastic food. The veal parmigiana is REALLY good and highly recommended.

Brooklyn, NY owners served great food. Everyone enjoyed their apps, salads, entrees and desert. Marked as a favorite and I'll be back!

My wife and I went to Caffe Italia for dinner two weekends ago. I still have the vision of her veal chop in my head. It was one of the specials that evening and looked simply amazing. She had it prepared pizzaiola style and enjoyed it immensely. Of course, she could not finish it and brought it home for the... More

I dined there this past weekend and had the best meal in a long time. The Veal Chop with roasted spicy peppers was just over the top. An appetizer of broiled scallops in a cream horsradish sauce, a great salad and a real side of spagetti in red. I just couldn't say enough to the waitter. Awsum. My wife had... More

Always good food and service. A bit pricy but worth it. NY Little Italy ambiance in an easily accessable area. Parking could be an issue.
