We were staying at The Samaya and if you are not it may be a little out of the way. However, I'd totally recommend making the trip as the location is stunning. You'll get driven all the way down the property, which is on the side of a hill, in a golf buggy. Then you dine on a terrace overlooking... More

With the experience of the excellent service from the Samaya Seminyak, we tried this place for dinner one night when we stayed in Hanging Garden. Again, we experienced the amazing service from the Samaya. The serving staff were polite and helpful. They could always describe food in every detail whenever asked about for order. After the dishes were served, the manager... More

Service was amazing from the email correspondence down to us leaving the restaurant. I asked for a nice spot as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and it was my husbands birthday. The staff went above and beyond my expectations. We did the 6 course degustation which were just perfect sizes and the food was brilliant with lots of favour.... More

Staying in Ubud, we decided to try this place for dinner (after reviewing TripAdvisor reports), and we thought it was absolutely beautiful. The setting is lovely - even in the dark! There are a number of tables overlooking the river which provided a lovely background noise to a romantic meal. Even though the place was not particularly busy (although the... More

We arrived at the inconvenient time of 4 pm but were offered afternoon tea or lunch menus. We were hungry so opted for 1 main to share for starters, followed by 2 mains, laksa and duck. The duck was wonderful, crispy, tender with tasty sambals accompanying it. The setting is glorious with the rainforest and river. The locals came down... More

We ate here twice during our stay and the food was great - we had the Kare curry and the Wagyu beef two ways. Both dishes were very enjoyable and the fresh bread they serve each night is great. The service is exceptional...very, very friendly and helpful. All that said, it felt overpriced. While the food was good, I'm not... More

We visited here based on Trip Advisor reviews as our 'posh' meal in Bali and weren't disappointed. As someone who is fortunate to visit Michelin star restaurants, this I can say is up there. Torrential rain didn't dampen the romance of the restaurant. Staff were attentive and the manager came to check on us. Every course of food was delicious,... More

Asian Flavours served up in Western Fine Dining Style. I love Fusion Food in high-end fine dining style. So when I took a look at the tasting menu and saw there was minimal fusion and it was almost all Asian ingredients, I had my doubts it would be more special than street food back home. But I was so wrong.... More

You would never have thought that a restaurant set into a resort could get a very good review of its food and service. But this is one restaurant that took me by surprise. i had seen positive reviews of it and wondered how it would compare to restaurants in the town of Ubud. It turned out to be really good.... More

This is a truly magnificent 5 star dining experience. Every dish we ordered was a taste sensation! Both the food and service are outstanding. Thoroughly recommended.
