Try the Annapurna Special Dosa. You won't be disappointed. You may not be able to finish the whole thing though.

Liked the taste of both South Indian and North Indian dishes. More efficient communication between the person who takes the order and the kitchen that prepares it will probably reduce the wait time.
This restaurant is always full of locals which is testament to its success. Great southern Indian talis and tasty dosas are just some of the delights on the menu. And their milkshakes are to die for, with a big dollop of ice cream in them...heaven! The restaurant is clean and spacious, The service is efficient and friendly, and prices are...

You know it's a good sign when you walk into a restaurant and there are only locals there. The food is really cheap, great value and DELICIOUS. One of the few places I've found food comparable to my moms. Do yourself a favour and order the ice cream sundaes, they are dirt cheap, gigantic and amazing flavour! Go here!
Visited here twice whilst in Varanasi, the food was cheap and fine, the service friendly. I opted for a dosa on both occasions, these were served quickly and were quite tasty. On my second visit I also had a cold coffee with ice cream - this was superb. A friend had the blackcurrant sundae, again excellent. Worth a visit if...

We opted for Annapurna restaurant during our trip to Varanasi during Maha Siva Ratri. I read many (good) reviews on trip advisor, found the contact number and called them up (Mr Umang) to find location and even went with his recommendation for a place to stay to be close to this restaurant.
With all great expectations you land at the...

After a day long sight seeing trip at Varanasi, I had two hours to catch a train to Allahabad when my driver suggested me to kill some time at this restaurant. I agreed to his idea. I was really thankful to him for taking us to this lovely, peaceful, hygeinic restaurant which serves chinese, north indian, south indian foods of...

The restaurant was clean, and the food was enjoyable, promptly-prepared, and reasonably-priced. However, the staff tended to hover uncomfortably close to our table.
*** Most importantly, while the address may be right, the location marker on the TripAdvisor map is incorrect (as of 2013/03/03). The restaurant is actually ~700m west of the marker, and lies at the north side of...

I went there for lunch with a couple of friends from Australia. Although the food was on the better side of the deal, the atmosphere was boring and service was at subpar (and lousy). My friends had ordered a Thali and unlike the traditional Thali concept here they had to pay exorbitant surcharges for requesting a little more of rice...
