Food is catered for tourists and not for real Indian taste. It was good no doubt but I like my food spicy and found it a little bland.ambiance is great.
Went here for an evening. The grounds of the hotel are amazing and the service we got in the Oberoi hotel in general was outstanding. For dinner we chose the Esphehan Restaurant and had the best Indian food on our 2 weeks trip through India. They do have a wide selection of dishes and they are all freshly prepared. Great...

Staff really go out of their way here. I would order their thali as it is worth it and you get to taste a full offering of Indian food from starters to dessert.
This was one of the best meals of our India trip. Beautiful setting, excellent service and outstanding cuisine. So glad we booked a table here.

Our family of ten had dinner at Esphehan on Christmas night. We had an excellent meal for considerably less than we would have on Christmas Eve, when there is entertainment and a lavish menu. Service was outstanding and the menu varied enough to accommodate a wide variety of tastes and ages.
The beautiful Oberoi Hotel was a wonderful place to go for a drink at sunset (alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks) The views of the Taj Mahal from the veranda were absolutely gorgeous. After having a drink we went to the Esphehan restaurant & enjoyed delicious Indian food. The food was a little spicy for me, but my friends love Indian food...

Beautiful Indian restaurant at the Oberoi. We had the Roghan Josh, a Kashmiri lamb dish that was mouthwatering!
