Not a place for the family. The place is infested with lizards and not so clean. The hooka is quite a put off for families, maybe the in thing for young travellers. Food - just about OK. more

What an amazing change of pace from the little alleyways of udaipur, to walk into this little area of green grass and white tents where you sit on cushioned benches and smoke sheesha and eat good food... i ordered a rajasthani thali which was good value with simply and healthy, yummy dishes of curried potato, eggplant mixed with tomato, GREAT... more

We stayed in Udaipur for 2 nights as part of a 2 week trip in India. I generally have not posted reviews for restaurants, but wanted to make an exception for the Whistling Teal. This is the cafe part of 'Teal Restaurant and Cafe'. Quite nice, and you can order food from the restaurant too, which as I've said elsewhere, is rather good. more
