The atmosphere was outstanding and so was the food and service. We have only been in India for a week and found this restaurant on trip advisor. We were staying on the other side of the lake but felt perfectly safe ( 2 women) walking there and back.

Fantastic place for lunch or dinner... actually in the summer months, dinner is recommended, but we had both there :) The view is fantastic. You get to sit under a giant tree and enjoy your meal. The food is delicious, the staff is prompt and helpful. Overall a good experience.

Location is fab : view is great and it's extremely romantic, however food has nothing special & you rather pay for the location. It's still a nice place to go I believe (also to look at the customers.. a mix of westerns & posh indians)

Great place to have a dinner beside the lake. Enjoy the illuminated view of City Palace and Lake palace in night. Not located on a busy street, for reaching this place you have to go through various small streets.

One gets a lovely view of the brightly lit City Palace of Udaipur against the peaceful Lake Pichola as you tuck into warm soups, soft rotis and tasty kebabs. We had dinner here and enjoyed it very much. A dinner for two adults and two small children cost $50, so it isn't cheap by local standards, but it is a very nice location. The views across Lake Pichola were beautiful, and they had musicians playing the entire time. The food was nice--it's a solid option for a good meal.... More

We were a little hesitant going to this place as most of the visitors don't seem to be in favor of this restaurant. Surprisingly, our experience wasn't disappointing. Ambiance- is nice, one of those places in Udaipur where you can enjoy a peaceful meal overlooking a lake. They also play live indian music, at least that was on the day... More

Food was mediocre but this was made up by the beautiful setting and lovely ambience. View of Lake Pichola can't be beat. Lots of mosquitoes - go prepared!
