The owners are Very friendly, but the wife is superb. She can increase her sales without annoying the customers. Don't miss the above juice and the toast sandwich.

I stopped here for a quick snack and had the best Pakora I've had in India! The fresh mango juice was also so tasty! It's not the cheapest place (for a backpacker) but still worth a visit. Owner was also very friendly!
Our group had a lovely time at this cafe and returned each day we stayed in Jaisalmer. We can't speak for the Western style food here as we gravitated straight to the Indian style snacks - when in India and all that. The bhel puri, bhaji and other bits and pieces we tried were delicious! The service is quite full...

Had breakfast here, and I'm afraid it wasn't anything special at all. The cappuccino was basically coffee with cocoa powder on top, the toast was that dry, powdery stuff with ice cold butter on the side that doesn't spread without smashing the toast to pieces. Not sure why they make a big fuss about their links to Australia - quite...

And the Mango...

Patience is all you need to enjoy the food as it takes 30 minutes to 2 hrs. depending on your group size and your orders ready as it looks like family kitchen. Food is clean, less oily and less spicy. good for family and children.
On their signboard the owners of this restaurant proudly claim that they are permanent residents of Australia but the treatment meted out to customers is anything but Australian - they are rude, impatient and unfriendly, especially the woman. When my 79 year old father asked whether she sold cigarettes her reply was: "Yes, but not for you! Because they are...

Thought this might serve up some home comforts but sadly not. Poor omelette and terrible mashes potatoes with onion and baked beans. The lady owner can be quite short with customers. Always seems busy though.
We stopped by this restaurant three times during our three-day trip to Jaisalmer. The first time was for a cold refreshing glass of lassi. The lady of the 'house' (as it were) wasn't in and her husband, Mr. Bhatia was very genial. We came back for breakfast the next day and while the poached eggs were fine, the upma had...

Ok the fort is a magnificent place so eating anywhere here despite the food is an experience. Despite that there are far more interesting vantage points to sit and eat. Upon arrival we were given a well rehearsed speal about todays specials (Average mango juice for 110 rupees).
i ended up ordering swiss muesli and curd obviously i did not...
