Having tasted pretty average fayre whilst staying in Kochi I was delighted to have found Oceanos. I had a spicy Syrian fish curry made with Mahi Mahi which was delicious. Food arrived promptly, staff provided an excellent service.

In spite of us being the only clients in the restaurant the service was very very slow. Though it was a hot May afternoon only on our request was the air conditioner turned on.
The portion sizes of the food, when it finally arrived was small for the price. The Kerala prawn curry and Coconut rice was very flavorsome though....

Seemed to be a clean, bright restaurant. On a quiet mid-week evening, the wait staff were as quick as they probably get. Feel they could have been a little more on top of things.
Food was good, not great. The price for the amount was a little better - it was a healthy size portion and I couldn't finish it...

Nice lay out, clean and generally pleasant. Food was delicious. Portions very small and the staff attitude was in general casual. Our order was mixed up. One of the dishes which we ordered we were later told can be done only in the evenings. They ran out of steamed rice and gave us half a portion only. They made up...

Excellent food, nice ambiance, good service, really good value! The prawn green mango curry was great. The honey fig yogurt panna cotta was ridiculously delicious. You must leave room for dessert!!!
We ate here on new years eve and the food was excellent. The nicest of the more up-market places we went to. No booze but the good food more than makes up for it - seriously considered having dinner here twice in our 3 day stay in kochi Finn & Anna
Fish Provençal was delicious but lime tea with mint, chocolate brownie with ice cream were just ok. The atmosphere was rated poor as the café was badly in need of renovation. This place has the potential to be a very nice café, but a lot more effort is required. Staff was friendly but not well trained.
"In the hands of an able cook, fish cooked at oceanos became an inexhaustible source of perpetual delight."
It was a very hot evening at Fort Cochin and we decided to have some Kerala seafood for dinner. We had a bad start at oceanos with the air conditioner not working (maybe because of no electricity) and that small space can...

We ate here twice during our short stay in Cochin. The food is excellent. Try the fish fry. It is Kingfish with masala fried to perfection. The fish (Kingfish) curry is beautiful and so is the fish cooked in banana leaf. Their appams are out of this world made and served fresh. The cuisine is South Indian, Syrian Christian etc....

He the fish in banana, excellent. For lunch. It took 20 minutes to cook, they were happy for me to have a wander down to the beach while it was being prepared.
