If you love Dosa, this is the place. No Frills & Fancy. Simple and delicious Masala Dosa. You will never regret.

Yes, it is good, but not the best. I mean it. I drove tens of kms within the city only to taste the dosas (to see for myself the hype, in fact). I ordered 2 dosas and could hardly finish the second one. The taste is just ordinary and the waitstaff are always in a hurry (but there is the... More

This place is now a bit renovated - so the experience is a little better. The dosas are simply fabulous here - loaded with ghee and there is something special in the batter. The way the waiters carry over 2 dozen dosa plates is a sight to watch. Don't expect good service and be prepared to wait.

The Vidyarthi Bhavan in Gandhi bazar is a small restaurant which serves the most amazing South Indian tiffin food you can find anywhere in the world in particular their masala dosa's and outstanding coffee. The place has the flavour of a typical South Indian eatery - noisy, congested, a bit chaotic but clean and neat to the core. Waiters are... More

this was the second experience after 7 years, and still i would say just 10% taste has decreased over the previous visit. The best Masala Dosa i ever had.

For Early morning Breakfast and Evening snacks: The location is Basavanagudi, which has its own history. Take a stroll in the evening along the roads buying flowers and experience an medium-to-upmarket shopping. You may sometimes have reservations on the spot (not on phone) to get a seat. Consider yourself lucky if you get a place in 15-20 minutes. Have the... More

We were in an indulgent mood and decided to treat ourselves to masala dosas for breakfast. We zeroed in on Vidyarthi Bhavan in Gandhi Bazaar as this is probably the city’s only restaurant whose signature dish is the masala dosa. This south Indian breakfast staple transforms into a delicacy at Vidyarthi Bhavan. Crisp, golden brown neatly folded dosas, which also... More

This place was worse than Brahmin cafe. We did a food trail one morning and Vidyarthi Bhavan was the cafe no 2 considering how famous this is. After a long drive, finding a parking spot a mile away and post a bit of wait, we got a table amidst a packed house & ordered their famous masala dosa. I ordered... More

Value for money, and how tasty a dosa and chutney can be can only be experienced by visiting this place! I mean folks Q up to get a place, and if a handful of you are visiting then be ready to be seated at separate tables if you do not reach the place early in the morning! Loads of things... More
