In Port Blair as we learnt; most people eat early. The sun sets at 5.30pm and dinner for most is by 7pm or that seemed to be the style, considering we were at Ananda at 10 minutes to 7 and got the last free table in the a/c section.
There are about 10 tables in this zone that can seat...

I have been recommended about this place before my visit to Andaman. So I went one afternoon for lunch.
They have two parts in restaurant, one is non AC and other is AC. The AC part is a better in terms of furniture etc as compared to non AC but I personally didn't liked much as lighting inside it was...

This probably is the best place to eat in Port Blair. They have good choice of sea food and after travelling in Andaman for 8 days, I found they offer the best food at the cheapest price. On our return from Havelock, we made sure to have at least one meal here.

After a few less than spectacular meals at other Port Blair restaurants we gave Ananda a try and were not disappointed. The food was very good and the service was excellent. In addition to eating at the restaurant on a couple of occasions, we also had them prepare a rather large take-out order for our trip home. Despite the large...
