This was a recommendation and I don't much care for fish but my partner does. Five went to dinner and you take your own drinks at off licence price...Egypt price not UK. You choose your fish or squid or prawns, they weigh it and you agree a price. That price includes a stunning fish soup, bread and dips plus rice... More

Fish counter downstairs with an array if appetising sea food. Pick your fish or shell fish, they weigh it, tell you the price and served it cooked to perfection with fabulous fish soup plus bread, houmus, salad, baba ganoush. Voila. + BYO wine so double value for money!!

Choose you fish from the great selection downstairs of very fresh looking fish, squid, prawns etc and tell them how you want it done (grilled, fried, steamed with lemin or chilli etc then head upstairs in the adjacent restaurant. Whilst waiting we were served delicious fish soup and dips with flatbread then the fish came with rice. Delicious and cheap.... More

We read some very good things about this place an gave it ago. Remember to bring your own beer or wine. We picked 250g squid grilled very good and well cooked. 500gs if clams (made in to a soup) this was very nice but our least favourite out o our dishes lastly we had 500gs of jumbo prawns grilled. These... More

The price is totally right!! And the food is pretty good--the fish soup, in particular, was delicious; and the whole meal deal comes with rice, pita, tahini, baba ganouj, salad, some kind of spicy, red salsa, and whatever main you've ordered. I had the calamari and it was garlic-fried; it was a little tough. . . they cut the pieces... More

We were told about this place by some people staying at our hotel and we were not disappointed. You choose your fish from the fish shop display at the front of the shop then go upstairs to eat it. The tables and chairs are bare wood and its a very local place but the fish really good and they provide... More

I ate here in a group and can honestly say it was one of best meals I have ever eaten. We chose fish from downstairs and had it cooked as we wanted. Absolutely delicious and plenty of foid. We could hardly eat it all

We liked how this place felt slightly like a canteen, but very spacious. You pick your fish from the fishmonger downstairs. Our meal (that we couldn't even finish), of a whole snapper, 6 giant prawns and a crab (plus 4 dips, breads, soup and bedouin tea, cost us £18 for two. I couldn't fault this place and only wish London... More

I had the spicy Bedouin calamari dish which was divine and my boyfriend had white snapper, caught on the same day. We both enjoyed our dishes and they came with some lovely extras, such as baba ghanouj, bread, salad and tahini. If you go there in the warmer season, be sure to sit at the very top, it has lovely... This restaurant is set back from the main beachfront area, so prices are lower. It's a shame it doesn't get the recognition it deserves beacause it's an absolute gem. Choose your own fish/shellfish before you go upstairs to the restaurant part, because they have a good selection of daily catch, you can also see what you are buying (pay by... More
