It might not be 100% Moroccan, but the tagine is absolutely stunning. O had the beef tagine with apricots and prunes and I was a second away from licking the bowl when the waiter took it away. The thick shakes are also very good. It's not same same. It's better.
Most restaurants and cafes along the main drag in Dahab serve similar food but this one had a good choice of vegetarian food and tasty tagines and couscous.
On our diving trip back in August we stopped here most days after our dives for Lunch. We could not resist the temptation of their claim to have the 'best thickshakes'. We ordered these along with a fishfinger sandwich (random I know but so good!) and pizza. What can I say? Thickshakes were amazing and so addictive and the food...

This place was where we ate our meals that were provided by Dahab Plaza Hotel. The food was great and its right on the water with a nice view and very peaceful atmosphere! Loved it!
There was no great pressure form the door staff which was a relief and the menu offered something a bit different to all the other places. We had already eaten when we discovered this place but the menu drew us in. When we returned the staff recognised us from a few days earlier which was a nice touch.

A very nice restaurant with a perfect terrace, and yes, i absolutely do not mind the cats (though they appear there rarely) but i really love the staff there and the menu... and specially the grilled fish.
If you want somewhere that has authentic middle eastern cuisine, this is the place. We have just returned to the UK (Saturday 2nd June) after spending a week in Dahab and spent four nights eating here. Tajines, Couscous, Shish Kebabs all beautifully prepared and some of the best flavours I have ever tasted. Been going to Egypt every year since...

Silly me wanted some Moroccan food in Egypt! Food very blend and had a bad stomach next morning! That says it all.
I guess that it was a bit like ordering a balti in Italy but I had expected a lot better. Nice location and staff and a starter and good dessert thrown in for free
