Delicious food and great views. Awesome place for friends to gather. And who doesn't like a mason jar drink?!
Best seat in the house is the second floor balcony. Sunset is fantastic and then the lights coming up from casinos and boats over the water are just gorgeous. Hopefully, a clam boat or two will come in during your evening. Kielbasa appetizer is our go to favorite. Best entrees would be fish and chips, seafood Cobb salad or the... More
Great view, great food, and of course the Mason Jar drinks. One is certainly not enough and two is probably too many. I really like the old bay fries and their burgers. Also their "Jerk Chicken Combo" is pretty good. The view is very nice and a lot of people come and go on their boats as there is a... More
We had an hour to kill waiting for our dolphin watch cruise so we visited the Back Bay Ale House for a couple of beers. The waitress was most gracious and the beer most cold. Sorry I cannot comment on the food but the atmosphere on the front porch was very refreshing. So if you are looking for a cold... More
We wanted to try Scales but it was closed so we went to Gilchrist's for a late lunch but they were closed (at 2 PM) and they directed us to Back Bay. It was a beautiful afternoon and we ate at an outside table, the service was decent in a busy way - even though the place wasn't very busy at... More
Went for dinner last night. Food was very good. Loved the jerk chicken wings. It was really a nice surprise when the staff gave everyone a free shot for a sunset toast. A gentleman gave a really nice toast. I thought this was a great touch. We've been here a few times because its easy to bring our boat over... More
We usually love this place, but we didn't have our usual experience on this visit. We'll definitely go back, in hopes that it was an off night. Service was slow, food wasn't the best, but drinks were good.
My son and daughter in law love this place, so I figured "what the hell". My granddaughter's fish and chips were excellent. My seafood salad was dreadful - both the shrimp and crabmeat were canned/frozen. My friend's mixed plate of beef, ribs and chicken got a 5 - the wings were fine, the ribs not so fine, and the meat... It is an old house converted to a restaurant which gives it a great deal of personality. Like I said, the staff is great. Like they have known... More
