It's not often I talk about the service first, when talking about a restaurant. The wait staff at Vola is first rate..... professional, helpful, attentive and accommodating as I've ever seen. We were a large party so we asked them to select appetizers for the table.....no problem, everything was great and just enough that we still had an appetite. They... More

Old place and looks it there's a difference in old and clean rather than old and dated the food is at best average and the large over priced portions try to hide the lack of quality sauces and well prepared food we had a veal dish with mushrooms that was completely covered and sauce was under cooked with masala wine... We went here with our friends who really love this place. They are not overweight, but they are very big eaters, they like a lot of food on their plate for their money! This place delivers on that, and you will certainly have plenty of leftovers to bring home, which is huge on their list of things they look for... More

I've been to Chef Vola numerous times but I always enjoy the experience -- and even more the food. Generous portions with a lot of taste and flavor. Simply not your typical pasta and standard red sauce. Look at the specials. Even on the menu, there are traditional dishes, but the food is very good. Family owned and operated, small,... More

Small, so always full. Their thing is being so small it use to be hard to make reservations. Once was enough. Nothing they offered was enough to back for.

My husband and I are both 100% Italian with family born in Italy. We have very high standards when it comes to authentic Italian food. This place is worth going, if you can get in for the experience. Staff is very friendly and at your side. The restaurant is located in the basement, which means you have to step down... More

You have to either know someone to get a reservation; or just get lucky. Our first time, we called and said we knew someone and my husband made up a name. From then, we either go with friends and then make a reservation when we are there. Yes, the food here is that ridiculous. It's very crowded and small, but... More

We have been many times with many different people, work associates , family, freinds and by ourselves. One thing you can always count on - crowded with enthusiastic diners throughly enjoying themselves, the Esposito family ,the staff and especially the food!! I really enjoy the pastas. Nice if you are there with a group because you can order two or... More

Maybe because people feel special being it is a bit exclusive, or maybe it used to be better, but we were far from impressed. Food was ok, maybe another dish choice would have been better. Salad was iceberg lettuce served on a diner type plating, not what we would call gourmet. Asparagus was nearly raw, and flavorless. Someone asked us... More

Went here for the first time last night. It's just like eating in your grandma's basement. Very cramped but a nice schtick of a place. It's a BYOB and reservations are a must. We had the mozzarella and roasted peppers as an appetizer. The italian bread and toasted garlic bread are addicting. As soon as the bread basket got low... More
