It was a beautiful evening, nice temperature some wind with a great and prominent view at the Cathedral. The menu is various and it doesn't matter what you take all of it is from an outstanding quality. Try the Sushi or traditional Colombian dishes.

Yes, the plaza setting is attractive. Can't say that about the food and service- very average. Calamari and ceviche to start with were ok. The mains- pad thai and langostini noodles (the lagtter around 20,000COP more expensive) were pretty much the same thing. We waited for the table for over 40mins at a pretty soulless bar. You can do so...

While walking around the Old Town area, a friend and I came across Café San Pedro. It’s location in San Pedro Plaza is just opposite the Church of San Pedro Claver (which is constructed from sea bed rocks – very cool!). We had a marvelous meal, sharing a César salad and both of us having a seafood dinner of local...

Hi, just arrived in Cartagena, and for dinner I asked the hotel concierge where the best Sushi was to be found. They said Cafe San Pedro. We have just come back, it was soooo shockingly bad. We couldn't believe it. I told the concierge, he didn't seem to really care.
But take this as a warning, if you know what...

Try to eat inside, the place has a beautifull scenery outside, but the tables and service outside is terrible, and inside the place is very romatic. Sometimes they forget to atend you. Teh food is good, before you eat you can have a carriage tour of the walled city.
Café San Pedro is located in San Pedro Plaza in Old Town, directly across the plaza from the impressive stone Church of San Pedro Claver. Its location and setting are simply fabulous. The restaurant is quite large with both inside and outside dining. The atmosphere of the outside dining area cannot be duplicated inside. As a party of eight, we...

We chose this place because of the outside tables and chairs with romantic mood lighting and directly across from one the oldest churches in Cartagena. My fiancé had just proposed a few hours prior and we were looking for a romantic spot.
The location and vibe was very romantic but the food wasn't as marvelous, and the staff was not...

Nice food but served by not overly friendly staff. Great setting and outside tables, which is surprisingly unusual in Cartagena. Expensive by local standards and smallish portions. As often the case in Colombia, alcohol is extraordinarily expensive.
This is a large restaurant across the courtyard from the Cathedral of San Pedro de Claver. The menu has sushi, some Thai-inspired items, pizza, pasta, steak, and chicken. While the definition of "curry" might be disappointing to someone looking for actual Indian food, everything we tried was excellent. (We did not try the sushi, so I can't speak to that.)...
