Disappointed that we never got to eat here. Tried to go here after reading reviews but tuk tuk didn't know where it was then got him to phone and there was answer phone saying they weren't open!

Had the 7 course tasting menu and it was amazing. The food has an American and French flair to it. The former head chef was from NYC and influenced some of the dishes. The price is unbelievably cheap for what you are getting. You must eat here if in siem reap.
This is at Hotel de la Paix. Nice food, beautiful ambiance. Try to reserve for the Swing and you will experience a different kind of dining in Siem Reap
This restaurant is expensive. I had a flourless chocolate cake w marscapone ice cream and a coffee for almost $20. It was really quite small but I don't mind that. I prefer a quality product in a mindful portion, but it was overpriced. It was very good but for this price, especially in SR, I need spectacular.
The coffee was...

I recommend eating here as you get a good cross section of Khmer cuisine. The wine tasting addition is also worth it. I would recommend to eat outside on the "hanging table" - essentially you lie on a large cushioned swing. The setting is beautiful and romantic.
The place is beautiful, hotel primeirrísima line in the center of Siem Reap. The restaurant Meric is very well decorated and very nice. But the food left much to be desired. I asked a Khmer Tasting menu and was not very good and my wife asked for another dish on the menu that also was not consistent with the location...

If i could i would give this restaurant a 6 stars. I took my wife there she ordered the sea bass with green bean and garlic noodles, i had pork chop with garlic noodles, both dish were excellent and delicious. If you do want to go make a reservation bc this little tiny place has no standing room for waiting.
One of the best meals we have had in Cambodia. Service was exceptional and they even took care of calling the spa re: my appointment since I was running late--then made sure we got our food as quickly as possible--without sacrificing quality! We felt very spoiled.
The food here is really great. The fillet was on par with anything in a top steakhouse in the states. The crab appetizer was also top notch. Service was very accomodating (we didn't have a reservation, and they still seated us). Pass on desert and get the ice cream at the lobby cafe -- it's the best ice cream I've...

I am writing this review now, 2 months after eating at the Meric, mostly because I am realizing how excellent it is in comparison to the many other hyped places I have eaten in Asia recently. I hate to insult Cafe Gray in Hong Kong, but after 3 meals at Cafe Gray in Jan and 5 meals at the Meric,...
