Had dinner at Al Muntaha in the Burj Al Arab. Service and food was great. Expected a little more for the steep pocket experience. I had a tuna tartar and a chopped salad for appetizer. Cod fish for dinner. The chocolate soufflé with avocado sauce dessert was incredible (best part of the meal). Overall food and experience was great, very... More

i am confused writing this review ...... my wife n me went opted for a pre-booked breakfast at the Hotel. (Dec'12). We went there to experience the hotel and for 500 AED its worth a shot. The hotel is simply magnificent its has a different aura the moment you step in. I read somewhere the designers wanted to give a... More

in spite of the wonderful reputation, when i invited my wife to celebrate our anniversary we were both shocked how poor was their buffet and how unfriendly was the service. since then we never hit burj alarab again and i can't even recommend it

Three of us had afternoon tea at the Sky View Bar on the 27th Floor of the Burj Al Arab last week. The food was excellent and they kept replenishing it as well. The cost was abit high(AUD $150 per person ) for what you get but then an extra glass of champagne was about AUD $50 per glass. On... More

I stayed in the Burj Al Arab for the final night of our honeymoon. It was a surprise to my wife as she wanted to go and have a look at this hotel earlier in our holiday and I made every excuse not to go. I found dealing with this hotel via email very difficult to impossible, I had to... More

We had high tea at the Sky View lounge. It was really special with champagne, lots of different types of savouries and too many cakes to eat. They even came around with extra savouries and cakes too. The view and whole experience was amazing. It is expensive but good value for money and one of the highlights of our holiday.

We had the most gorgeous afternoon tea in the skyview lounge, which is located on the 27th floor. The view is absolutely breathtaking, and although quite an expensive afternoon tea, the food was just gorgeous. We had a glass of champagne included but we decided to have a second glass (be prepared that will add on another £30) and we... More

It's nice to be there once, the view from the 27th floor is great, my expectations where also high in respect to the food and wine, But food has the value of 10% of the price, ravioli with crab as a starter, almost no taste, tournedos , I have eaten it much better on much places for 20% of the... We were expecting much more from our afternoon tea at the Burj. It's a high price to pay for nothing more than a tourist attraction The service was ok, but nothing special. The food was ok, but nothing special. Glad we visited to see what the fuss is about but certainly will not be returning in our lifetimes.
