Our hotel recommended this restaurant. The owners are Swiss and Lao. The wonderful food reflects this. Reservations are advised and the staff were very efficient and attentive. We had the Chicken Satay / Chicken Salad to start and both dishes were flavoursome and wonderfully prepared. For main course we had the Monk Fish wrapped in leaves and the Home Made... More

We decided to have a celebratory dinner on our last nite in LPB and were not disappointed by this excellent restaurant that is Western/Laos fusion. The food was excellent with delicate, well spiced sauces on both the dishes we ordered, the beef stroganoff and the Western chicken dish we ordered. More importantly when the owner stopped by our table to chat... More

Way better than 3 Nagas which is overrated and the food is excellent. A fusion menu of Lao and Swiss which is awesome. Just a bit expensive but we had to splurge a couple of times! The chef came out and spoke with us. A really nice Lao man!

This place offers a strangely compelling German-Lao fusion that reflects the life story of the owner, a Lao orphan who was raised by German-speaking parents in Switzerland. The food was exceptional, with superb offerings of Lao delights and German favourites. I went back for the chilled papaya soup twice and it was equally good both times. The service was nothing... Nice atmosphere, good food, timely service and great cocktails. The river fish in Luang Prabang is excellent, really tasty and well cooked.

We first discovered this restaurant on a visit to Luang Prabang several years ago and when we decided to visit Laos again in March/April 2013, we emailed the restaurant in advance to check if they would be open over Laos New Year, the time we would be visiting. When we discovered they would be closed we changed the timing of... More

The place is very nice, good atmosphere. The food is excellent, we've been there twice and on both times it was great, well presented and tasty. We only had swiss/western food and the strogonoff and the buffalo meat were amazing. They also have a great wine list and the house wine is very good, south african. Dessert was also delicious.... We had a great dinner here, food was good, staff were very friendly and attentive. Definitely the most upscale place we have been to in town so far, price is a little higher maybe but worth it. Great bruscetta and garlic butter, just had to mention that too...
