Description: Seven Piggies, located in the city centre, offers local authentic Ukrainian cuisine. This restaurant has finelly selected organic local products, starting with homemade delicious pancakes, dumplings, authentic soups, beer snacks and other variety of regional dishes. Excellent, honest food, that caters from small to large parties, private dinners, romantic occassions and can be equally recommended for meat, fish and poultry.This is an atmospheric and cosy place, with warm country style features. Contains original décor of a house interior, small operating watermill on the ground floor adds ambience and transfers you to country scene. Typical household items scattered all over the place remind of the rural Ukraine with many accessories, reminding you of the pigglets theme. Full bar, ranges from local beers, variety of vodkas, and other well established international brands. Live music in the evening, is a delightful treat of folk, traditional, classical pieces, of the region which adds to the overall experience. One of the best Ukrainian restaurants in Lviv, with warm hosts to make your visit special and memorable!

I have been at this restaurant several times during last 8 years and I should say that it always been a plesant experience, food is very good and the atmoshere is nice. Service is profesional and descreet, something still exceptional in this country. Yes it's pricier than other places in Lviv but not as much as many other "posh" restaurant...

Very expensive restaurant. Very! Unofficially it is being considered as one of the most expensive restaurants in Lviv. It is not so fancy to be so expensive though!

We had lunch and although there were a few of us from work, the food took ages to come and overall the lunch took two hours which was an hour more than we could afford. I know that most dishes were cooked to order but still a restaurant with a good reputation needs to do better.

Completely agree with the Oct 2010 review above. This place is a foddie'sgem. Ukraine is not exactly a gourmet country due to mediocre quality of most restaurants.
