We saw this recoomended on TA and while the map is good the restaurant is not easy to spot, the sign being small from the way we approached. The food was great though - very tasty, good size portions and we enjoyed the recommended wine. We sat downstairs and it was very cosy and intimate for the two of us.... More

Been there on 30.03.2013., not far from the city center but not well marked so a bit of a challenge to find. The set up is nice, very typical for a Dalmatian Konoba not large but cozy. % of us were there for the dinner and we were relatively happy with the level of service, what I did not like... More

It is a real difficult place to find but considering the number of people in the restaurant, it is a sign that people visit this place based on reputation. I had a beef dish that looked very plain but was surprised by the flavour when eating it. The service was good and the atmosphere was vibrant. The prices were reasonable... More

We visited this restaurant for first time in February this year and we can say everything was excellent. Thanks to people on TripAdvisor who recommended it. The food was soo good (shrimps soup, shrimps risotto, pancakes...) staff was very charming and prices are reasonable so we decided to visit it once again in 3 days of stay.

This restaurant is located just north of the palace area. We visited when it was pouring rain, so we ate inside and were among all locals. This was the best meal of our whole visit in Croatia!!! We started with the creamy scampi cream soup. It was so flavorful, creamy and delcious. The shrimp were perfectly tender. Next, we ordered... More

Whenever I visit a city as a tourist, I try to avoid tourist places and restaurants and always trust tripadvisor recommendations. This recommendation was spot on! We visited the restaurant because of the nice reviews we saw and it was a great choice. It looks like a tavern (conoba) but the cuisine is authentic and croation. Hardly to see any... More

The main dining room of this restaurant is a stone-walled basement -- very romantic. As in all of Croatia, the seafood was excellent, and they actually brought the fresh, whole fish to the table so that you could choose your fish. The restaurant is a five-minute walk from the walled city. The prices were very reasonable, particularly considering the portion... More

We sat in the beautiful outdoor patio and were delighted with the seafood risotto, green pasta with seafood, mussels, and rooster with gnocchi (daily special) that we ordered. Service was excellent and unobtrusive. One of our best meals in Split!

Good fish, very fresh. However we paid a lot (it seems that other restaurants, serving fresh fish, are less exspensive) If you don't mind paying a little bit more, than usual - well worth a visit
