This place has some of the best italian food around. Bring your own beer or wine, relax, and enjoy. I would recommend this place wholeheartedly.

I have been to Il Forno in Acton several times over the years, most recently in March 2013. The food has been consistently outstanding (I always order off the 'Specials' list,as they are all fantastic - usually with very creamy and flavorful sauces). At some point, I would love to order off the Regular Menu :-) The restaurant is also... More

Ordered Mikes pizza and veal parm. The pizza came out on a thick crust ? store bought, uncooked onion and glob of cheese on the top. Totally inedible. The veal parm was mediocre with a sauce that also was comparable to something that came out of a bottle. Portions are huge. The service was ok

The steep entree prices prevent Il Forno from being a neighborhood trattoria, but the food is generally good and has improved over the years. I like the ability to bring our own wine. The downside on a recent visit was the unprofessional behavior of the staff. Although the room was not nearly full, they insisted on seating everyone at adjacent... More

This is in my town. Great pasta and traditional Italian food. Anti pasto looks good. A little pricier than many Italian eateries but worth it.

byob makes this the affordable choice - but you dont give up the great taste. Eggplant parm is yummy. The salad is also a great start along with their garlic bread. I haven't had a bad meal. Can be a wait on weekends.

This is a nice place for Italian food. We have always had a good meal - not spectacular, but tasty. It's a good neighborhood place.

We like the food at Il Forno, but just as much we like the fact that we can bring our own wine. They don't have a liquour license, but will open your wine for you and furnish the wine glasses. There is always a long list of specials, and they are usually very good. I almost always get a special,... More

Stopped in as a last minute option after the restaurant we wanted closed. It was very busy and there were lots of regular customers from young to old and families. It is BYOB and lots of tables had their own wine with them. We had a wonderful wedge salad that was plenty for two. We ordered pizza that had a... More

I went there with a friend a couple of weeks ago, late on a Sunday afternoon. Wasn't sure what to expect at first, so didn't have high hopes. We arrived around 4PM for a late lunch/early dinner. Not too many patrons at that time, so the mood was relaxed. They have a large menu with lots of seafood, and it... More
