The food was delicious. They had a good selection and everything was great. Service was a little slower than I am used to, but that seems to be the norm in Panama.

They serve awesome Papa a la Huancaina! All the food we've had there was great---and beautiful presentation. I wish I lived closer!
The place is not fancy, but the food is unbelievable. The Parihuela (Seafood soup) is out of this world. The lobster is amazing, seafood platter is amazing. I've been to this place over 10 times. If you like seafood is the place to be in Panama.
PS: I had an experience that wasnt nice with a plate of mariscos salteados...

We enjoy this restaurant every time we visit it. There is a very wide menu and the seafood is always excellent. Make sure to try to mashed potatoes, they actually import the potatoes in from Peru, and they are the best in the city. The service is good and it is a comfortable place to hang out.
This is the first time I've ever given 1 star on TripAdvisor. We went with high hopes left with food poisoning. We went here last month after reading good reviews and I've got to say I eat out a lot in Lobdon I know good food and service so take that into account with this review. We sat down ordered...

I had dinner at Machu Picchu this past week after several people had recommended it. It was by far THE BEST meal I had in Panama City. The ambiance was very warm and welcoming and the seafood was outstanding. Furthermore, the prices were reasonable. I would recommend this restaurant to any traveler staying in the area.
We walked around the neighborhood before making a desicion on where we would dine. We chose this location based on the fact that it looked like a local's favorite The service was fine but the food was spectacular. If we were staying longer in the city we would definitely visit again.
This Peruvian Restaurant can be classified as a superb venue for lunch and dinner as far as I’m concerned. It has a small balcony in the front which provides a nice place for alfresco dinning. The fish and seafood is excellent and very tastefully prepared. We can without hesitation recommend Machu Picchu and in particular the “Corvina Costena” and Delicias...

Ordinary, average, nothing special. We found it to be just o.k. The food was not great, not terrible.
The menu was interesting with some great Peruvian style dishes but the sauces were heavy and preparation just OK
