Tastefully simple with excellent food at good value. Service and décor nicely European without being over-the-top (as is typical in Kiev). Easy place to return to often.
Despite seeming variety, Kiev has few restaurants with great food and service, and Gorchitsa is one of them. Even if they served nothing but their famous, mouth-watering ravioli with mushrooms and spinach in a foi gras sause, they would still be worth visiting. I came there after a long break, and was amazed that the quality has not gone down... More
We tried Gorchitsa's Cafe 2 nights ago and were impressed with everything. Awesome food, service, and atmosphere. We had the seared Tuna, Rib Eye for me, as well as starters of goose liver pate and wine. All were above the standard. We also took home the home made ravioli (spinach) and gnocchi dishes. The gnocchi was the best I ever... More
Probably one of the best 5 restaurants in Kiev. The food is great to say the least, the decoration a bit outdated and the location central but bit out of the turisty areas. Not for the people looking for nightlife style dining experience which is common in Kiev ( With: sushi, models, music and music videos on TV) this is... More

I have visited this restaurant often and have always enjoyed it. A simple menu but yet a wide selection. Wine at reasonable prices. Pleasant and friendly staff.
Amazing location and atmosphere! My advise is to go at the breakfest time and for sure dinner is very good, try to book table in advance. Wine and plate of main cusine for two not more than 30-50 usd. Try that you like becouse all is very tasty!
I was so happy to get french food as good as back home in kiev. I am not fond of the atmosphere, which is good but not excellent. But I will sure go back there for I want to eat everything on the menu!
We went there for whole family affaire. It was just steps away from the place we stayed and we decide to go there for the convenience. It is very small, just a few tables, but nicely decorated and very cozy. As we had four generations of the family and very different tastes we went for almost everything on the menu,... More
