Some may say it is situated in a lovely setting, and this is true in the middle of the botanical gardens. Food variety minimal, but good food, staff lovely and very friendly. Not my cup of tea, so would not revisit this place.

Came here during the Friday 'night life' tour, we really wanted to go back as the atmosphere was great. A big plus during a hot evening is the lack of walls, making it a refreshing experience after a few too many ;)

Friday night is Party Night on Rarotonga -- and Hidies is the spot to start your night. Great entertainment, a nice mix of locals and tourists, competitive prices on drinks. If you are over 40 -- take ear plugs!!! LOL

Had a laugh at this place. Questioned my safety upon walking in here with security checking my bag. Only to find a table of grandparents sitting down chilling to the islander music which was, well, very loud. Cheap drinks. Probably a hot spot if your keen on a big night session.

Hidies Bar (as it is called by the locals) is fast becoming the place to be on a Friday night. We thought we would try one of the theme nights as we had heard that they are always well supported. We weren't disappointed. It was a 70's / 80's theme night - plenty of Don Johnsons and George Michaels look-a-likes.... More
