During a recent stay in Cusco we ventured to this wine bar/restaurant and were very impressed with the staff's response when one of our party of 4 became overcome with Altitude sickness. Without even a request they were at our table with a portable tank of oxygen and some sugary coca tea with immediately relieved the symptoms.
We enjoyed several...

We happened to see Baco across the street from our hotel and arrived without a reservation. A table for 5 was instantly arranged and we were seated with a Pisco sour very quickly. The menu is an impressive mix of some traditional Peruvian specialities (Pork & seafood) but with a modern touch. A lovely mixed "picking plate" (curried prawns were...

Excellent food served in a comfortable setting. We arrived in total darkness (to a power cut) but, once the lights were restored, we were not disappointed with the food or the service.

This is a superb restaurant. Place this bistro in the middle of New York, Paris, or Melbourne and you still have the top location in town.
Owner, Tammy, has doen an incredible job iwth her two restaurants. Food weas perfect as was the ambiance.

I would have given this place three stars for the food but the service was sooooo sloooowww... We were there on an evening where there weren't a lot of people and it took maybe 20 minutes just to get a glass of wine. The servers were relatively nice but need some more help when it comes to properly taking care...

A great restaurant in Cusco. The food is fantastic and the staff very attentive.
Try the lamb for your main course and the fig cake for desert.

If you fancy a little splurge then you will do no worse than making a visit to Baco.
With a week spent in Cusco this ended up being the best quality we encountered. Beautifully decorated restaurant helps create a fantastic high end ambience but doesn't suffer from stuffy pretence.
A concise menu provides plenty of different options that are beautifully...

The informal, relaxed wine bar atmosphere is very pleasant. The wine list is very good by Cusco standards, although a bit limited for whites. My date and I thought the service was very good, we were served a 'courtesia' (amuse bouche) before our meal, the mixed 'Parilla de Mariscos' starter for two was excellent as were the mains. Not cheap...

The restaurant has an ambient of a wine bar, rather than a typical restaurant. The selection of especially red wines offered is very pleasing and the staff was surprisingly good in advising wines. The food was also delicious, they are especially good in salad dressings and all kinds of sauces. The bbq antipasti platter was very yummy. The price exceeds...
