While we were in Cuzco we wanted to try the alpaca (lama). A google search for best alpaca in Cuzco brought us to Marcelo Batata. The restaurant is situated in a nice part of the old town. It's nicely decorated, has a relaxed atmosphere. We were placed opposite the open kitchen, where we could see the cooks doing their magic.... More

Went here after having been to UCHU and were as equally impressed with the quality of dishes and service. Newly launched menu with a traditional pork plate called "adobo" - almost like a stew - very tasty. Loads of information on Pisco. The place was packed and we found out later they are an extremely popular, and well - deserved,... More

Although we went here for alpaca which was good and the appetizer guinea pig was as well the chicken we ordered was amazing. Also the fruit juice drink was great and came in a giant glass. Cost for 4 was under $20 each only had 2 main courses and 2 appetizers.

What a joy to learn about the varieties of culinary products available in Peru and then get to prep and cook a couple of dishes in not one, but two world class restaurants. Thank you Eric for your talent, humor, knowledge and great company! I look forward to visiting your restaurants in Cusco again in the future and hope to... More

This restaurant offers a great choice of Peruvian gastro food. We were all very happy with our meals. The view from the rooftop over the cathedral and the Cusco hills is as well wonderful. Great place to spend some time tanning after lunch!

This is a really fun place to have your first (or last) meal in Cusco. It has a big mix of Peruvian food to try and it also has a great drink list which my partner and I took advantage of. We asked many questions, all of them were answered by our server with great knowledge about the region and... More

We got the recommendation for this restaurant from our hotel and barged in for dinner without reservation with a group of 10 people. The place was quite full but they still managed to organize a table for us. The menu had the normal Peruvian dishes on the menu with some "fusion" options as well. The food was really delicious but... More

There are hundreds of tourist restaurants in Cusco.. this is mid range in price; very good, nearer the top end in quality and price. Good quality ingredients, nicely prepared and served. Should be on your top ten list to consider if eating out in the evening.
