The food is ALWAYS fresh and delicious. They have a great selection of plates and great cocktails ¡ the service is good, the waiters wear nice bright kimonos. You get a real sense of good japanese food.
Everytime time I go to Tanoshii, is superb. Fantastic staff, incredible food great ambiance. For me the best sushi restaurant in Ecuador
If you're looking for tastier sushi, Noé might be a better option, and slightly cheaper. But Tanoshii is more traditional, and the atmosphere is way better. I think it provides a more private setting for business, for example.
Tanoshii has great sushi at cheap-reasonable pricing. It tastes great, is safe, you won't get sick, and it is part of the swissotel which means that you can find someone who speaks English. The sushi is the best that I have tasted. There are big serves and all of the sushi tastes good. I really recommend it!!!
Tanoshi in the past untiol 3 years ago was I could say the best restaurant for japanese food in quito, however, due to many changes regarding the chef, and the menu, the restaurant lost that excelency , and now remains good, but competition from other Japánese restaurants in quito, had
an influence on this place. location is good, and service...

Tonight's experience blew my mind. I had told some good friends about Tanoshii and seeing as I am leaving the city soon they wanted to...

The cheff is japenese, thats a good start. The rolls and the fish are super fresh. The temoura is outstanding. All the dishes are tremendous. Large portions. Best sushi in town by far.
Tanoshi has excellente sushi, and a great 2x1 promotion on rolls. I have been there several times with friends. However, the service is not up to par. The first time there I got the distinct feeling that the wait staff, and particularly the manager knew that we were on a budget and there for the promotion and consequently made no...
