Grabbed coffee and humitas (a typical ecuadorian tamale-type snack) during the afternoon and had a great time. Great view that overlooks the city, I can only imagine how pretty it would be at night!

My wife and I spent 5 days in Quito and went to Cafe Mosaico based on the reviews posted on Trip Advisor. It truly is a perfect place to have a wonderful view of the historic portion of Quito. We walked from the cathedral area and perhaps this was a mistake since it took us the better part of an...

This place gives you the perfect view on the old town. I cannot tell about their food since I had only one bottle of beer with their traditional dumpling(?) I had an excellent night time there and still believe the night view should be better than the day view.
The Mediterranean (Greek mostly) food is good but nothing outstanding. The draw is the location on a mountainside opposite the historic city which gives you a great view of the lights at night from its plentiful wide windows.
The view from Mosaico is incredible, with its expansive panorama of Quito. When I was there, they also had some excellent live music, the beers were cold, and the service was friendly. The Greek food was pretty average, however. I had some meatballs which were overcooked and with little taste. I would recommend this place for having a few drinks...

So much food! Needed a bit of spice or something. Location is excellent, music is great. I was full and content when done with the meal!
I would go here just for the view, but the food is good also. You can choose from heavy meat dishes all the way to light salads. The salads are fresh and tasty. You can choose small plates to share and the selection is good. The only drawback is that during busy times they don't seem to have a system...

An hour and a half after being seated, with no silverware on the table, the waiter finally brought two out of our three drinks. Ah Cerveza, but the...

Cafe Mosaico is one of my favorite places to go. The view is breath taking, specially at dusk as the sun is setting. It's a must see of Quito that I suggest to everyone I meet.
The food is good as well. Its got variety and the owner has really put a lot of effort into both the menu and...
