I celebrated my 60th birthday party at Mount Faber Peak Private Dining (Jewel Box) on 21 Oct for 60 people and had a great time. Food and service were great and all my guest had a great time. The view especially around 6pm were spectacular...and you have a 360 deg view at the top of mount Faber. All it all it was a great experience for me, family and friends. Thank youMore

Drove up Mount Faber. At its summit is The Jewel Box. Saw cablecars and Sentosa lights. On the other side were the many city lights and Telok Blangah town. Had dinner here. Cosy ambience. Friendly waiters and waitresses. Good view of Sentosa & Harbourfront. Tasty...appetiser and dinner. There's a small souvenir shop next to the restaurant. Enjoyed. Nice food at above average prices. Reservation recommended avoiding disappointment. Free parking.More

just had some cake and a drink, which was very nice. But the view is probably the best in Singapore - the setting makes you feel like you're part of the cast in Indochine

The place offers a nice view of Singapore specially at night. Food and facilities are good. There are also nice photo areas to capture memories - such as the bell of happiness...

Other than accessibility, the environment is romantic and rather 'happening'. An ideal place to chill and relax and enjoy an excellent view from the top.

Sitting atop Mt. Faber, Moonstone offers an amazing - and completely unobstructed - view of Singapore's Harbourfront, Sentosa and the South China Sea. The view is even more spectacular at night, with all the dancing pretty lights of this side of Singapore and the cool...breeze gently (okay, sometimes not very gently, haha) blowing on your skin. My husband took me to Moonstone for our 'dating' anniversary dinner and I thought the restaurant certainly makes for a romantic hideaway. We ordered pork belly, bacon & asparagus, grilled salmon, tofu, and soba - which were all very tasty and well-prepared. I remember the pork belly to be crunchy on the top and soft the rest of the way and very, very delicious. I think though that the portion is a bit small. We took a bottle of plum wine (can't remember the brand exactly) which went really well with the dishes we ordered. Staff was friendly and service was good. After dinner, slightly tipsy from the plum wine, we dared to ride the Cable Car down to Sentosa which was pretty funny because hubby and I are both terrified of heights so we would take turns in scaring each other during the ride.More

Spent nearly 4 hours at the jewel box enjoying great food and view. If you want a break from the concrete jungle then do consider jewel box as an option.

Couple restaurants here. Nice meal & nice view. You can take the cable car from Sentosa or Harbourfront.

The dining room with all wall offered a great view of Singapore and as a jump off point for the cable car ride to Sentosa, experiencing this place is also as good as the cable car ride over the city. Every corner you can see...a work of art. Every corner is a perfect backdrop. Even the bathroom is a masterpiece. Though for all its perfect ambiance, the taste of the food leaves much to be desired. The plating is exquisite but the taste disappoints.More

Had the worst experience with the place. Staffs are rude when you ask more questions. Staffs don't even know what they are selling. Never going back there again. The scenery is good but it is free, no need to eat there. Better food and services...else where. The manger of the restaurant can't even explain about the mistake they make. Waste time and money onlyMore

The Jewel Box turns out to be a restaurant at the end of the cable car on Mount Faber. Although it gives a nice view, your still looking of big parts of the harbour. The food itself was very mediocre.

I paid for a dinner on my hubby birthday via debit card. The payment went through as the bank will send me an alert once funds r through. I rec no confirmation email, and after days of chasing them all I got was, our IT...did not see the funds processed. Tjat sentence to shut me up. Its a horrible experience when u have to go through all the hassles of proofing to them via attachemnets that u do not mean to trick that meal out of them, and they do not seem to be too bothered by the customer fustration. Line was hard to get through. The only voice I could talk directly to, was the voice mail. And I can only follow up on my own case via email. To check in if they have received my emails, I will have to talk to the voicemail again. Never will I go back again. This time no choice as the payments have been made, thats if they even bother to help me on the confirmation note. Else.. no next time. I will not even refer my frens in. For the irresponsible answers I have, for the shut me up responses, never.More

Well, firstly, the idea is cool, u get to have a scenic view when having dinner, if the weather is good, u can also see the sun set. Price wise, paying for the ambience & the cable car ride mostly. The food is not hot...and doesn't taste very good. What makes it worse is that you can't choose the dishes, it's all set menu. In my opinion, that's not good... On top of that, it was windy & the cable car swayed a little, & my wife got sick (motion sickness)... Fortunately, one staff agreed to let us have our dessert in the restaurant. To sum it up, it can be a dinner for fond memories or for a once in a lifetime experience, but I won't be going back anytime soon...More
