Great sushi at sun. Lovely restaurant with pleasant staff. Great choice on the menu and nice beers and great saki.
It is one of fabulous Japanese restaurant you can find in Singapore for special occasions. The atmosphere, the level of crowd, the taste, the presentation is all good. It can be pricey compared to other restaurants but nevertheless it is worth trying. (Maybe not good for anyone who wants to stuff foods in their stomach. It is rather good for...

I think it is really a good Japanese restaurant. Food tastes very good and is very fresh. Maybe it is a little pricey (50SGD per person) baed on the fact that the portion are very small but I think it worth it. I do recommend the place.
Decent japanese food and good for business lunch settings. Quality of the food is above average considering the prices. If you have a tight budget, you always choose the lunch sets. please make reservations.

We went there on a Saturday evening. I would say the food is oaky and fresh but it is overrated. The teppanyaki beef is tasteless. Overrall it is ok but I think It is overrated.
We ate here on our night in Singapore (stopover from Oz to London). I saw the restaurant mentioned in the Mr & Mrs Smith review of our hotel and decided to try it out. The food was nice and super fresh tasting sushi, however it was very expensive for Singapore prices and not sure I'd recommend a visit.
Set lunch is definitely worthy trying with afford price. You will also be surprised by the portion. Overall speaking, I'm fine to go back there and dine again.
I am a Japanese living in Singapore, and so far this is our favorite Japanese restaurant that we dont mind being a regular at.
Like with all Japanese food in SIngapore, it is more expensive than other cusinies. However, Sun at Chimes has a good mix of expats, locals, and Japanese customers and the head chef is Japanese. Many of...
