It is a bad idea to go anywhere Chinese dominated arount their New Year. The (Chinese) restaurants are sheer panic with only big tables, noisy families and huge buffets.
It was well after Chinese New Year this set up which completely ruined the otherwise well designed and ecclectic setting of this restaurant was maintained.
They were kind enough to advise...

The portions are really tiny! But this is fine dining hence acceptable.went there after reading that the restuarant has been voted amongst the top ten or so. The location is not that great but the food is delicious and expensive.
This is an extremely attractive restaurant with views of the bay.
The menu is somewhat kitschy with zen-like descriptions of categories of dishes. This is a small criticism considering the fabulous dishes. I had dinner with my Singapore friends in this restaurant and the food quality is very good. My compliment to the restaurant chef for preparng such good flavor and quality well presented dish. I would recommend this restaurant to all visitors to Singapore.
Best Chinese cuisine I had in Singapore, and I visit the place every other weeks. Btw, they have just changed the menu.
It was a new experience to order Chinese food each dishes per person. Food is terrific and service is not bad. My son loves it. But I feel like a bit overprice.

We chose the tapas option and enjoyed every dish - poached chicken, fish deep fried balls, deep fried wasabi prawns (including tasty bits of deep fried fish skin), battered mushrooms and seafood fried rice. Cocktails are well priced and the wait staff were friendly and helpful....

Each course produced another meat or soup and finally a mango dessert treat. Very satisfying taste sensation without feeling stuffed. This would be a good place for special celebrations.
We had high hopes for this place. It was well reviewed. On arrival we were made to wait 15 minutes (we had a reservation) and when we went inside the place was half empty. It took another 15 minutes to place the order and we felt the waiter was doing us a favor. When the food finally arrived the servings...
