Spring Moon, the chinese restaurant at the Peninsula HK, best among the best. The marinated chicken, one the speciality is only finesse... Service is top
We have had Peking duck in a number of restaurant over the years including the "Big Duck" restaurant in Beijing more than 30 years ago. Spring Moon had the similar duck, but the little pancakes were outstanding and the service terrific. A little to much to eat as they served a full duck for just the two of us, but...

When you have the Spring Moon in your hotel, there is no need to venture outside. Cantonese cuisine. The suckling pig is a specialty, but the dim sum is also quite good. Clean, well-staffed, with glorious food. For what more can you ask? The restaurant is what people in the USA would call a ..dining experience. Let you mind wander,...

I have to say, I was a bit disappointed by Spring Moon.
The service was wonderful however the food overall left something to be desired. I was taken aback in that the restaurant prepares a seperate menu for lunch from dinner and my favorite Hong Kong treat was not on the lunch menu: Suckling Pig. I was surprised also when...

Spring Moon was amazing! My family and I went to Spring Moon @ the Peninsula Hotel to enjoy a nice "last night in Hong Kong" meal and we were definitely impressed. Although my uncle resides in Hong Kong with his family and occasionally goes to Spring Moon, it was my first experience there. The suckling pig was perfectly made (but...

My first time to Hong Kong, before the handover, I entered the building wearing shorts...

Crab with spicy salt. You must try this dish, it is outstanding. We always eat too much because every dish is 5 star.
Amazing value for such a beautiful restaurant in an iconic hotel. Dim Sum was not the absolute best I've had but it was excellent, esp the black pepper beef buns - recommended! Will definitely pay a return visit.
We tried the tasting menu, and we're a bit dissapointed with the food. Expected better from such a flash hotel. Service was attentive, but courses were slow to arrive. Food was wonderfully presented, but tasting menu only offers bite size morsels. Little old man greeted me in the bathroom and helped me wash my hands! Classic old school hotel action!...
