Never disappointed. Always impressive. Staff always courteous and helpful. Innovative food. Nothing can go wrong here.

In January of this year I reviewed Robuchon au Dome in Macau where we celebrated my birthday, this time it is L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon in Hong Kong for my wife's birthday. This is not the first time for us in L'Atelier and every year we give L'Atelier vouchers as Christmas presents to friends and family which are always much...

A very disappointing experience. The food, as the restaurant and the service, is pretentious. They all behave as the food is luxury, but most of the dishes we tried were far from it. The complimentary entrees were bland, the cucumber gazpacho was too subtle, almost tasteless... just a hint to mint (hierbabuena) and cucumber. The Parmesan shot was ok, but...

One of the most fun and delicious gastronomic experiences one can have. I'm a big fan of Joel Robuchon, and L'Atelier in HK did not disappoint!
There are 3 Robuchon venues in a shopping complex. L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon is the patisserie.
Great coffee, beautiful crossiants & desserts. Don't get the tasting plate. You are better off ordering a few of the full size desserts & sharing. It is cheaper if you get the actual desserts instead of the silly mini ones on the tasting plate....

I spent the summer looking for one special meal to highlight my trip, and my search took me to this restaurant. Although its worldwide status with 3 Michelin Stars (the top rank), #2 in the Asian Miele Guide, and #23 in the Asia's Best Restaurant List 2013 is really a huge deciding factor, I still had doubts because I knew...

I would have never associated a Michelin 3 star restaurant with bar stool service but they have done it at L'Atelier and it does work. You can't quite see the workshop of the artisan as the name suggests because there are many props in the way but you are close to the action.
We ordered the May French Festival menu,...

I have been a patron of this restaurant for many years now, like many other locals. I guess we take things so much for granted that I never thought of contributing a review until last evening when we were there, and a guest made comments about a restaurant review he read.
This restaurant has never been anything but excellent. Staff...

Fantastic food to die for. Such presentation and great service. It's at the top end but well worth the experience for that very special occasion. The apple dessert was a work of art and the mains simply divine.
Great decor, not as formal as you expect - great food, ambience is different from other countries, good service, but not outstanding.
Getting there is a little tricky...take your time to find it...ask...it is within a mall area, ask around.
Better than NY, not as good as Paris. Found the attenttion from the staff was not as sharp as I...
