Never miss this. The Mango deserts on menu with its nice cool drink selection will make you come back for more. Shops always crowded but that proves its popularity even among the locals.

The whole store only has 1 staff who had to take orders, make them, settle bills etc. Luckily it was not very crowded hence the waiting time was around 20mins for the desserts to arrive. Still, it tasted normal and there were nothing special about it. Not exactly value for $ as well.

Hui Lau Shan should not be viewed as a restaurant but as a 'fast food' outlet. Locals may find it pricey but, given the freshness and high quality of the ingredients used, this is a very reasonable one. In a hot day at the end of May and after walking miles in the city for shopping and sight seeing HLS... More

The seating is uncomfortable. There is no service and trying to order is hell. Quality of food go down when prices go up. selection of food is widened by introducing poor pre-cooked/out-sourced food items. They should have just continued with what they are best at - the original fruity mix drinks, fruit desserts and platters.

The drinks served have a lot of fresh fruit and are very tasty but I find them to be a bit pricey for HK standards. Drinks in HK can be found for $1-2USD but at this chain it is closer to $5USD That being said the quality is very good and fresh, it is worth trying at least once

This is a chain restaurant around HK, mostly dedicated to mango desserts. I recommend the one with the little mochi rice balls in it...It has a scoop of mango sherbet in the middle and a soupy freeze of mango around with the most lovely mochi floating about. Very refreshing!

Hui Lau Shan has outlets in alot of places but mainly concentrated in TST, YMT and Mongkok area. It is a nice dessert shop and we enjoy our every visit to the cafe. Recently, we found a branch closer to our home - Johor Bahru's City Square!
