We had lunch at the Si ji Min Fu at Wangfujing. The menu was in Chinese and English. They feature Roast Duck at a very reasonable price and is very nicely done. When we went to the restaurant we we the only Anglos in the jam packed place with a long waiting line. I think that speaks of the quality... More

The resturant has a bird in a cage squawking an annoying sound every few minutes - drives you crazy when your trying to relax. The environment is not well climate controlled and i had to put my coat and gloves on at the table even after being asked to be and relocated to a warmer area. Service is crap with... More

We picked this restaurants based on TA reviews and as it was walking distance from our hotel. We were very happy with our choice, for quality of food, price and service. We had the 'superior' Pakind Duck for less than 200 RMB. Since we were only 2, they recommended taking half, but we wanted to 'full' experience. Only a few... More

The Beijing duck was very good at first it needs a bit of will power to go in it is a small grandfather restaurant and not on the tourist road. The service is very local we did not have the luck that any one was speaking English. Unfortunately the other dishes beside the duck have not been as good as... More

We ate here with my family after trying Dadong and Quanjude, all i can say is this place serves the best peking duck. Price is also reasonable. Aside from peking duck, we also ordered other viands and all tasted great. Staff provided excellent service. Highly recommended and would definite eat here if im back in Beijing.

Our tour guide recommended this place, and when we arrived to a line of people waiting outside we knew it was for good reason! It was worth the wait - so if there are people waiting don't let it keep you from going. The Peking Duck was awesome and the staff was great in showing us the appropriate way to... More

A Chinese tour guide recommended this restaurant to us and we went twice we enjoyed it so much. My recommendations: Kung Pao prawn, beef with (? Black pepper) and the deep fried apples (finished with spun singer on top!). We also had some delicious greens too. The second time we went back and had their Peking duck - which was... More

A chain based restaurant, which might have seen better days. Food is fairly good, especially the mini cucumber and a really good mixed Salat, which is hard to get in a lot if restaurants. But atmosphere is loud, service average, place does not look clean, especially the toilets were not acceptable.

Nice ambiance, not fancy or upscale, but clean and nicely decorated. The duck was as good as QuanJuDe at half the price (and no long wait!). Would go there again.

We were taken to this restaurant for lunch by some Chinese friends. We arrived at 11.30, a little early for lunch I thought but by 12md I could see why, the place was packed and we were the only Westeners in sight! The menu is well presented with fantastic photos representing each dish. Often the photo dosen't represent what you... More
